Wanna ruin a perfectly good video game?

. . . Then take an art history class.


Point en case.

I love Assassin's Creed (just the first one).

I never really cared about anything in the game except the achievements . . . until I started taking this art history course.

Now, whenever I climb up a column or wall, or see some stinking huge building with all these designs all over them, I find myself analyzing them and placing them into a particular stylistic period.

It's. Awful.

And distracting.

I'm not the only one who feels this way. Caroline does, too. Not about the video games, per se, but she doesn't exactly enjoy AH, either.
